On August 14, 2008 Kvazar-Micro (from 2009 will operate under brand SITRONICS Information Technologies) one of the leading system integrators working in Eastern Europe and CIS countries declared that based on the results of the state expert assessment of the automated workflow system DOC PROF 2.0 (AWS DOC PROF) we obtained expert opinion about compliance of information security complex of AWS DOC PROF with requirements of regulatory documents on technical information protection system in Ukraine, reported the press-centre of Kvazar-Micro.
 
The expert opinion was registered in Administration of the State service for special communications and information protection of Ukraine on 20 of June 2008 under # 137. Therefore it confirmed success of two year joint work of Kvazar-Micro and Institute of Computer Technologies LLC specialists for creation of protected version of AWS DOC PROF.
 
According to the expert opinion protection complex AWS DOC PROF provides protection of open information processed in AWS that is property of the state, as well as restricted data that is not state secret nor property of the state. At that a range of implemented solutions provides level of protection sufficient for processing of information that is property of the state.

At development of the protected version of AWS DOC PROF Kvazar-Micro developers laid principal emphasis on providing of protection strength of all information objects that contain restricted data and processes used for its processing (use of reliable tools for authentification of the system users, management of user access to the processed information objects, journaling of all user activities for access to the protected objects and all attempts of unauthorized actions, etc.). Besides, the system is capable to generate/check digital signature of documents with its use for check of enhanced open key certificates. To provide this the development team integrated in the system certified (certificate UA.112.0100870-07) cryptographic protection facilities developed by Institute of Computer Technologies LLC.
 
According to Deputy Director of Institute of Computer Technologies LLC Аndrey Timoshenko, tools for generation/checking of digital signature implemented in the protection complex AWS DOC PROF support open key certificates created by any key certification center that was certified in compliance with requirements of Enhanced Certification Rules, thereby AWS DOC PROF complies with requirements of Ukrainian regulatory framework regarding use of digital signature in public authorities and agencies of local self-government.
