OREANDA-NEWS. August 19, 2008. In compliance with the RF legislation ALROSA has prepared and posted on its web-site (www.alrosa.ru) the interim results of its economic and financial performance in the form of a quarterly report for Q2 of 2008, reported the press-centre of ALROSA.

ALROSA is currently in the process of placing an additional equity issue, and also is fulfilling the provisions of the Amicable Settlement Agreement between the governments of the RF and Yakutia in respect of the assets of the former Yakutalmaz Research and Production Association (NPO Yakutalmaz). These circumstances of a temporary nature have been reflected in the report in the form of a certain decline in some of ALROSA’s economic and financial indicators.

With reference to the above, ALROSA expects unconstrained recovery of its financial and economic indicators to an adequate level.
