OREANDA-NEWS. On 18 August 2008 was announced, that the PFTS index ended last week by growing 0.6% to 641 points. Nonetheless, the Ukrainian stock market dynamics by sectors on Friday was different: UFC Utilities added 0.9%, while UFC Engineering and UFC Metals sank, at that, the latter lost 4.1% due to sharp movements by certain issuers.

Among securities watched by us we would like to highlight BAVL that on Friday managed to overcome the level of USD 0.15 and enter the corridor of USD 0.15 - USD 0.18. We would like also to note that PGZK rebounded downwards, which demonstrated a stable growth before despite the market situation. This security sank below USD 1.8 and continued moving to USD 1.6 mark.
