Credit Investment in Azerbaijan Increased
OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2008. The press service of National Bank informed that in 2008 July 1 credit investment on Azerbaijan economy was 6166.5 mln. manat.
This indicator increased 1.7% than the previous month, but than the 1st July of 2007 it increased 78.3%. 99.9 mln. manat of credit investments had felled to the share of the last time credits.
In 2008 1 July 1848.5 mln. manat (30.8%) of credits were short time credits, but 4318.0 mln. manat (70%) of credits were long time credits. 64.1 mln. manat or 3.5% of short time credits and 35.8 mln. manat or 0.8% of long time credits are the last time credits.
2753.3 mln. manat (44.6%) credits have been invested on economy by state banks, 3272.0 mln. manat (53.1%) credits by private banks, 141.1mln. manat (2.3%) credits by non-bank credit organizations.
1850.2 mln. manat credit have been invested on Azerbaijan economy by the banks organized with the participation of the foreign capital and its specific weight in common credit investment is 30.0%. Banks working with 100% foreign capital gave 289.8 mln. manat (4.7%) credit.
3278.7 mln. manat or 53.2% of credits had been given with manat, but 2887.8 mln. manat or 46.8% of credits had been given with the foreign currency.
