OREANDA-NEWS. On August 15, 2008 the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allowed the Agrarian Fund to purchase grain in its food reserves at average prices, according to a respective Government order, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

According to the document, the Government allowed the Agrarian Fund, with the goal of forming the state food reserve, to buy food grain of new harvest at the average prices, which were formed during the last three trading sessions at the Agrarian Stock Exchange and certificated accredited commodity exchanges.

If there is a decrease in these prices to a level of the set minimum price, the Agrarian Fund should conduct the purchase of grain directly at farms at a minimum price set for the objects of state price regulation.
