OREANDA-NEWS. On 15 August 2008 was announced, that Belarus may have to pay over U.S. USD 200 per 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas imported from Russia in 2009, Ambassador to Belarus Alexander Surikov said.

“The gas price is very likely to exceed USD 200 per 1,000 cubic meters. The price will be set in accordance with the formula agreed on December 31, 2006,” he said.
