OREANDA-NEWS. On August 13, 2008 a leading operator of Kazakhstan JSC “Kazakhtelecom” reported that the company undertook the payment of dividends on preferred and ordinary shares for the year 2007, reported the press-centre of Kazakhtelecom.

Pursuant to the decision of the Annual General Meeting of shareholders JSC “Kazakhtelecom” , held on May 30, 2008, the company undertook the payment of dividends on preferred and ordinary shares for the year 2007:

- Additional payment of dividends on preferred shares for the year 2007, amounting to 88 052.7 tenge (subject to tax at the source of payment);

- The payment of dividends on ordinary shares for the year 2007 amounting to 2 886 570.4 tenge (subject to tax at the source of payment).
 
Additional payment of dividends on preferred shares for the year 2007 is 244.79 tenge per share (previously received payment of dividends on preferred shares of US 300 tenge per share). Payment of dividends on ordinary shares is 544.79 tenge per share.

The list of shareholders entitled to receive dividends, was compiled as of June 30, 2008.
