OREANDA-NEWS. On August 11, 2008 Georgian doctors at the railway hospital of Vladikavkaz Station on North-Caucasus Railways delivered the baby of a resident of Tskhinvali from South Ossetia who had fled from the conflict zone, reported the press-centre of Russian Railways.

Larisa Alborovaya-Dzhusoevaya from Tskhinvali gave birth at term at the Russian Railways private hospital at Vladikavkaz Station. The delivery was successful and Larisa gave birth to a 54 cm baby boy weighing 3.56 kg.

The baby was delivered by Doctor N.P. Baklanova and the midwife L. Khokhrishvili, both of whom are Georgians.

The hospital expects to discharge Larisa in 3 days. Russian Railways will look after the young mother and render her and her child all necessary assistance.
