Georgy Turlov Appointed Deputy General Director of IDGC of North-West
OREANDA-NEWS. August 14, 2008. Earlier the position of Chief Engineer of IDGC of the North-West was occupied by Alexander Kuhmay. He was elected to the position of the Company General Director.
George Turlov was appointed to the position of Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer of IDGC of the North-West since 11 August 2008. The corresponding order was signed by General Director of IDGC of the North-West Alexander Kuhmay. Before his appointment to this position, Georgy Turlov worked as Deputy Chief Engineer for operation and technical development.
Earlier, the position of Chief Engineer of IDGC of the North-West was occupied by Alexander Kuhmay. Since 1 July 2008, by the decision of the Board of Directors of the Company, he was elected to the position of the Company General Director.
Georgy Vasilievich Turlov was born on 21 December 1951. He graduated from Leningrad Agricultural Institute majoring in "engineer-electrician of agriculture". From 1996 to 1998, he got education in the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation, "manager in the market conditions". He passed improvement of professional skills on the subjects" International Standards System of ISO series 9000" and "Business Planning in Building Activity".
Since 1977, Mr. Kuhmay worked for the enterprise "Gatchina Electric Grids"; from 1982 to 2004, he occupied various positions in Lenenergo, JSC. In September 2004, he was appointed Deputy Chief Engineer of Lenenergo, JSC.
In July 2005, he started his work in IDGC of the North-West, JSC. Before his appointment in August 2008 to the position of Deputy General Director - Chief Engineer, he worked as Deputy Chief Engineer for operation and technical development.
Georgy Kuhmay was awarded the Certificate of Honour of the Ministry of Fuel and Power of Russia.
He is married, and brings up two sons.
