OREANDA-NEWS. On 14 August 2008 was announced, that in St. Petersburg the International Exhibition of Calligraphy organizing committee, President of the National Union of Calligraphers Petr Chobitko met with the famous Russian calligraphers. During the meeting they approved the design of the first handwritten Constitution of the Russian Federation.

As it is known President of Russia swears an oath on the Russian constitution. This moment of the inauguration is very important. That is why a handwritten constitution of the Russian Federation can be not only the prime law stating the legal, political and ideological characteristic of the country, but also a historic and cultural symbol of Russia.
