OREANDA-NEWS. On August 11, 2008 Metalloinvest Holding became the partner of Russian Olympic Committee in organization of Russian Olympic Press Club at Beijing XXIX Olympic Games, reported the press-centre of Metalloinvest.

The Olympic Press Club is designed as the information and communication center of the Russian delegation. It was created for the first time in the history of Russia’s participation in the Olympic Games.

The Press Club is working on 24 hour basis, is equipped with all modern information technologies and provides large communication opportunities for mass media representatives. Its work will enable the guests of Beijing Olympics to have access to the firsthand information, learn about the achievements of the Russian team and promote the image of Russian sports.

The Press Club’s program includes a series of video-conferences Beijing-Moscow where Russian sportsmen will speak about their way towards the victory on the Olympics.

The Press Club inauguration ceremony was opened by head of the Presidential property management department Vladimir Kozhin. He wished good luck to Russian journalists in their work at the Olympic Games.
