OREANDA-NEWS. August 12, 2008. It is 12.3% more than in the same period last year, it was informed at the National statistics office.

In particular, the construction and assembly work volume in January-June 2008 totaled 3 bln. 061.7 mln. lei ((\\\\$315.6 mln.), 5.1% up from the same period last year. 2.6% less apartment houses– 235.8 thousand square meters of housing were put into operation for the reporting period.

Investment activity in Moldova was intensified mainly owing to the non-state enterprises. Economic subjects’ and population’s funds as well as foreign investments were the major investment activity finance sources in Moldova.
