OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 August 2008 was announced, that Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (APP, Republic of Tatarstan), part of United Metallurgical Company (OMK), has surpassed the planned target for July by 111%. APP produced 13,369 tonnes of pipes of various grades, which is a 5% increase as compared with the July 2007 figure.

Output of pipes of various grades since early 2008 (January-July) reached 90,300 tonnes, which surpasses the planned targets by 11% and the corresponding 2007 figure by 16%.

In the reporting month, APP shipped 15,639 tonnes, which is 5% more than in July 2007. During January-July, APP shipped 109,454 tonnes, which is a 22% increase as compared with the corresponding period in 2007.
