OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 August 2008 was announced, that CMW’s output of finished rolled products was 69.2 thousand tonnes in the reporting period, which is 1.9 thousand tonnes more than in the equivalent period in 2007 (67.3 thousand tonnes). Its output of rolled products reached 463.9С thousand tonnes from the beginning of 2008, or 39.2 thousand tonnes (9.3%) more with the corresponding period in 2007 (424.7 thousand tonnes).

In June 2008, steel production was 41.1 thousand tonnes. In total, Chusovoy Metallurgical Works made 264.1 thousand tonnes of steel from the beginning of 2008, which is 19.1 thousand tonnes (7.8%) more compared with the corresponding period in 2007 (245.0 thousand tonnes).
