OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 August 2008 was announced, that on Tuesday, the Ukrainian stock market bounced up after its slight decline occurred at the very beginning of the week. The major indicator – PFTS index – added 1.8% to reach 634 points. The PFTS index again having hardly reached the level of 625 point, the following day confidently closed above this level. Meanwhile, the broad UFC index ended the trading session with more modest results by adding 0.6%.

Yesterday, all three sectoral indices went up, thus demonstrating their solidarity that happens rather rarely of late. UFC Metals gained 0.2%, UFC Utilities – 1.2%, and UFC Engineering – 0.6%.

The most volatile security of late among securities watched by us is still AVDK, which yesterday again clung to a USD 4.0 mark after its break through down on Monday.
