OREANDA-NEWS. On 13 August 2008 was announced, that the branch of IJSC Ingosstrakh in St. Petersburg has entered a voluntary health insurance contract with Toyota motor Manufacturing Russia, a limited liability company, to extend insurance coverage to more than 600 employees. The term of the insurance policy is 2008-2009. The parties to the contract agreed not to disclose the insured amount per person.

The insurance program offered by the insurance company stipulates outpatient services, dental care and scheduled and emergency inpatient care through best medical facilities in St. Petersburg, Moscow and throughout the country. Ingosstrakh cooperates with many heath care institutions where each patient can obtain up-to-date medical screening services and qualified medical care.

‘In 1H 2008, the size of written premium in VHI increased by 53% vs. the same in 1H 2007 and amounted to some RUR200mln, - says Andrei Alexandrov, Director of IJSC Ingosstrakh in St. Petersburg. – From the start of 2008, we have entered 315 voluntary health insurance contracts. Of course the bulk of those are accounted for by corporate clients, however, we are looking at developing our retail client base, for which purpose we are planning to open a Be Healthy clinic to optimize the price of policies and make them more attractive for retain clients.’
