OREANDA-NEWS. On 12 August 2008 was announced, that all branches of IDGC of Centre, JSC have exceeded the target on performance of the investment program set forth in the beginning of the year.

For six months of 2008, IDGC of Centre invested 2 billion 669 million rubles in construction and reconstruction of power facilities. In the first half of the year 2008, IDGC of „Rentre put into operation 910.5 km of power lines that is 113.6 % of the target, and 70.6 MW transformer capacity (204.7 % of the target). Excess of the planned targets allowed to provide connection of new consumers to electric systems of the company.

"We marked a number of priority directions in the technical policy of the company for increase of reliability of the power complex," Sergey Shumakher, Deputy General Director for the Technical Policy said. "It was decided to implement the gas insulated circuit breakers in the network of 110 kW. Our second step should be replacement of oil-filled circuit breakers of middle voltage by the vacuum circuitors. It is also the advanced technical solution where the equipment with the low operational expenses excluding fire danger is applied. The third program is introduction of the advanced microprocessor means of relay protection which allows to disconnect instantly the damaged site of a network and not to allow failures which may affect this or that zone of electricity supply of region to expand".

Now the feeder of 10 kW, DU-25 and branching OL-04 are reconstructed in Kletnya settlement of the Bryansk area: lines of the above mentioned distribution grids are also equipped with the self-bearing isolated wire. Thus, for today, almost the quarter of the city networks which passed to Bryanskenergo branch of IDGC of Centre from former owners of Bryanskcommunenergo State Unitary Enterprise has been replaced. Already this year, over 50 million rubles will be assigned for reconstruction consisting in demolition of the old and construction of new lines.

The largest projects of reconstruction and expansion planned for the second half of 2008-2009 in Orelenergo branch are "Zapadnaya" and "Sovetskaya" substations. At "Zapadnaya" substation, two stages of the substation will be put in operation; two power transformers of 110 kW for the total capacity of 126 MW will be mounted. The works will cost 274.64 million rubles. Within the limits of the target program on increase of reliability, Orelenergo plans to purchase and install the modern equipment on a number of other substations: "Zavodskaya", "Zheleznodorozhnaya" and "Paramonovo". Here the gas insulated circuit breakers will be mounted, as well as replacement of all oil circuit breakers of 6Ѓ\10 kW by ecologically safe vacuum ones will be performed. Another 104 million rubles will be spent by Orelenergo branch of IDGC of Centre for realization of these actions under the leasing program.

In the second half of the year, Belgorodenergo will continue performance of the program of technological connection which is one of the main tools at realization of priority national projects in agricultural sphere and individual housing construction. For this period, the company plans to connect 24.9 MW of capacities.

Within the third quarter, Belgorodenergo branch of IDGC of Centre plans to finish reconstruction of the repairs production base of Krasnogvardeisk and Yakovlevsk electric grid areas, and also to modernize regional dispatch offices of Alekseevsk, Ivnyansk, Belgorod, Yakovlevsk, Shebekino, Krasnogvardeisk  and Krasnensk areas. Employees of the company will replace 125 current transformers and 35-110 kV transformers at substations.

IDGC of Centre, JSC plans to assign 1 billion 876 million rubles for the investment program for the third quarter.
