OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 August 2008 was announced, that the 13th International Specialized Medicine Exhibition Hospital 2008 will be held on 30.09.2008 — 02.10.2008 in Saint-Petersburg.

The international exhibition HOSPITAL is the largest exhibition on public healthcare in the Northwest Region of Russia. The exhibition promotes the development of co-operation and the establishment of contacts in the area of medicine between the Russian and the international community and has a priority status for Saint Petersburg. In 2001 the Committee on Foreign Affairs declared the HOSPITAL exhibition to be the best exhibition in Saint Petersburg with the most effective foreign participation.

From 2006, there will be a new look to HOSPITAL St.Petersburg. The exhibition will be re-styled to make it more consistent with ITE’s portfolio of medical and healthcare events in Russia and the CIS. Every year, the exhibition is supported by the Government of St.Petersburg, the Healthcare Committee of the St.Petersburg Government, the St.Petersburg Medical Association and the "ROSMEDPROM" Association. At the same time as Hospital St.Petersburg, the international exhibitions will take place: PHARMACY and AESTHETICMED. In 2006 the fairs occupied 3,200 sqm. 227 companies from 9 countries participated. The fairs welcomed over 12,000 trade visitors.
