OREANDA-NEWS. On 11 August 2008 BANK URALSIB (RTS: USBN) announced that the Supervisory Board has decided to convene the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGM) on September 9, 2008.

The meeting of the Supervisory Board held on June 4, 2008, has decided to call the EGM as a collective meeting on September 9, 2008. The EGM’s agenda includes the issue of reversing the decision of the Bank’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) with regard to the Bank’s Auditor approval. The shareholders will also consider approval of a new Auditor.

The AGM of the Bank, held on June 27, 2008, approved Ernst&Young as the Bank’s Auditor.
