OREANDA-NEWS. On 08 August 2008 was announced, that according to preliminary statements, the aggregate written premium on direct insurance contracts entered by Ingosstrakh branches coordinated by the Siberian Regional Center (SRC) in 1H 2008 amount to RUR 1,326,4 mln, which is 41.3% higher than in the same period of Year 2007. The size of written premium in voluntary insurance other than life insurance is RUR 1,067.2 mln (+ 44.0%), including  RUR 331.45 mln (or +35.1%) in private insurance, and RUR14.4mln in liability insurance. The size of written premium in compulsory civil liability motor vehicle insurance is RUR259.15mln (+31.1%).

The payments made by IJSC Ingosstrakh under direct insurance contracts in Siberia in 1H 2008 amount to RUR 564.4 mln, including RUR117.8 mln in voluntary private insurance, RUR 277.65 mln in property insurance, and RUR1mln in voluntary liability insurance. Compulsory civil liability motor vehicle insurance payments made amount to RUR 167.9 mln.

The most dynamic areas of business Siberia in 1H in were property and private insurance.

The authority of the Siberian Regional Center covers the branches of Ingosstrakh based in Altai and Krasnoyarsk areas, in Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Omsk and Chita Regions and in the republics of Buryatia, Altai, Tyva ad Khakassia.
