New Board of Kauno Energetikos Remontas UAB Was Elected
OREANDA-NEWS. On August 05, 2008 at the shareholders meeting of Kauno Energetikos Remontas UAB the sitting Board of the company was revoked and a new Board was elected. Arunas Keserauskas became the Chairman of the Board and General Director of the company, reported the press-centre of Kauno Energetikos Remontas UAB.
Before that he worked in the position of the Advisor to the Director of Kruonis Pumped Storage Plant, a subsidiary of Lietuvos Energija AB, earlier he had held office of the Director of Administration of Kaunas Municipality, General Director of Vakaru Skirstomieji Tinklai AB, General Director of Lietuvos Energija AB. Gediminas Abartis, the former SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC manager for the Baltic States and Zenonas Paukstaitis, the former Technical Director of Kauno Energetikos Remontas UAB were elected as the members of the Board.
“I am confident that we have succeeded in finding the right persons who will optimize operations of the company. A new chief executive officer of the company together with experienced employees of Kauno Energetikos remontas UAB will ensure the development and growth in efficiency of the company”, says Darius Masionis, the Chairman of the Board and General Director of Lietuvos Energija AB.
The new members of the Board of Kauno Energetikos Remontas UAB were elected after due consideration given to their personal features, experience and management competencies.
“As the chief executive officer I have a key objective – to ensure efficient and competitive operations of Kauno energetikos remontas. I will make all efforts to accomplish leadership of the company in this business“, - says Arunas Keserauskas, the newly appointed General Director.
Kauno Energetikos Remontas UAB is a subsidiary of Lietuvos Energija AB, established in 1945. Currently the company is specializing in maintenance of electric erquipment, refurbishment, installation, doagnostics, manufacturing of spare parts and metal structures. This is one of the biggest and oldest companies involved in such bisiness in Lithuania, employing 800 people.
An integrated management subsystem has been implemented at the company covering a range of management systems – quality contro, envitrnmental protection , safey at wprk and professional health, complying with the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. The company renders services to power plants including Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant, district heating and electric utilities, shipyards, industrial enterprises , construction companies in Lithuania, in European Union and other foreign countries.
