OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 August 2008 was announced, that according to Deputy General Director for organizational development and personnel management of IDGC of the North-West Vladimir Shchelkonogov, on 29 July, the first meeting of the draft collective agreement development commission represented by members of trade unions and administrations of the company takes place.

"Earlier, each DGC had its own collective agreement; in connection with consolidation of the company it will be uniform since 2009, but with the additional agreement for each of seven branches of IDGC of the North-West," Vladimir Shchelkonogov said. In its opinion, working out the contents of the collective agreement will last at least three months.

The collective agreement of IDGC of the North-West will come into effect on 1 January 2009.

The basis of the collective agreement is the industry tariff agreement in the electric power industry of the Russian Federation between RaEl Association and "Elektroprofsouz" (Electric power trade union). It established the rights and duties of both the parties, and also additional benefits and guarantees for employees of the power company.
