Ukraine Purchases Minimum 880,000 Tons of Grain to Agrarian Fund
OREANDA-NEWS. August 05, 2008. The Agricultural Policy Ministry of Ukraine is proposing that the Agrarian Fund be instructed to form a national food reserve in the volume of minimum 880,000 tons of bread grain through buying grain of the 2008 harvest. A relevant government resolution has been drafted, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.
It is planned to buy the said volume of grain on the farming exchange at average-weighted price equation used on the exchange and accredited produce markets certified by it in the course of the past three trading sessions, which should not exceed maximal purchase prices.
