OREANDA-NEWS. August 06, 2008. ROSNO’s Siberian Directorate has sponsored the personal Russian Junior Tennis Tournament dedicated to the memory of Y.I. Tychkov, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

This competition, to be held in Novosibirsk from July 28 to August 03, has been organized by the Fitness and Sports Department of the Novosibirsk City Administration and the Siberian Children’s and Junior School of Olympic Reserve for Badminton, Tennis and Ping-Pong. The tournament participants count 48 sportspeople in 2 age categories: under 12 years and under 14 years. They represent the children’s and junior sports schools of Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Omsk, Kemerovo, Krasnoyarsk, Achinsk, Minusinsk, and Sosnovoborsk.

In 2008, the tennis tournament dedicated to the memory of Y.I. Tychkov is included in the Siberian Tennis Tour series, and its winners will get into finals of the Russian Tennis Cup Tournament, to be held in October 2008 in Tolyatti.

According to the Deputy Director and Executive Director of ROSNO’s Siberian Directorate Mr. Viktor Kochetov, support of the children’s sports shall become a top priority of the socially responsible business. "Being a leader in the voluntary medical insurance market, ROSNO promotes healthy lifestyle. We think it is important and logical to pay much attention to the health of the new generation. Engaging in fitness activities since childhood is much more efficient and easy than spending time and money on doctors in adulthood. I hope that these young tennis players will provide a good example to their peers", commented Mr. V.Kochetov.
