OREANDA-NEWS. On August 04, 2008 the Council of Alokabank adopted a decision to pay dividends to owners of privileged shares. The bank will pay 20 soums per privileged share. Total number of shares is 5.6 million soums.

The dividends will be paid from 5 August 2008 to 4 October 2008, the bank said.

Alokabank Joint-Stock Commercial Bank was established in line with the decree of the Cabinet of Ministry of Uzbekistan dated 12 October 1994. The bank was created to support economic growth and financial assistance to the enterprises the Uzbek Agency of Communication and Information and small and private businesses.
