OREANDA-NEWS. August 07, 2008. AvtoVAZ ramped up domestic car sales 14.7% y-o-y to 56,100 units in July, the company said in a press release.

A total of over 387,700 Lada cars manufactured by the Volga-based enterprise were sold in Russia in 9M 2008, up 31,300 or 9% y-o-y. In 7M 2007 over 66,800 Ladas were exported, up 17.7% y-o-y.

As reported earlier, the company plans to overshoot its production target by 3,348 cars and auto components thanks to Saturday shifts worked in August, since July sales reduced the number of cars held by dealers.
