Latvenergo Client Portal Becomes More Popular
OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 August 2008 was announced, that the number of clients registered with Latvenergo AS client portal www.e-latvenergo.lv increases for 35% every month, reaching the number of 5500 as of today. The main function of the portal is to facilitate the clients’ electronic self-service, dealing with the issues related to the use of electricity.
New functions and options have been added to www.e-latvenergo.lv client portal, providing residents with faster accessibility to further usage of Latvenergo AS services.
In order to make access to the clients’ most demanded services easier, a special Green Zone has been created on the main page of www.e-latvenergo.lv, enabling everyone to receive the most demanded services conveniently without special registration with the portal. In the Green Zone, the clients can:
• print out unlimited number of payment receipt copies for themselves or others;
• view recent paid-off meter showing;
• pay for consumed electricity with a bank card without a commission fee;
• check their contract number;
• print out the application and submission forms.
Then, should a client decide to register with the portal, he/she will have an opportunity to track his/her transactions with Latvenergo AS, control his/her electricity consumption history as well as send queries to Latvenergo.
After authorisation, residents may register for Automated Balanced Payments for consumed electricity – currently the most visited page of the portal. More than 6500 clients have already been using this service. Automated Balanced Payment enables the clients to pay the electricity bills automatically on a regular basis. The monthly payment sum is the same – it is the average sum calculated from the electricity consumption amounts within the last six months.
E-latvenergo.lv portal is continuously developing, and more and more new options are constantly added. Soon the clients will be able to make the whole range of electronic payments for electricity not only for themselves but also for their relatives or friends, to subscribe for and receive notifications on the planned outages. Those clients, who make payments for electricity by means of bills, will be able to enter conveniently the meter showings into the portal electronically. Already in August, a new version of the portal will be offered for use to business clients – enterprises, providing legal entities with a convenient and contemporary option of reporting meter showings electronically.
Residents do not have to pay commission fees for any services received or transactions performed via the client portal, nor do they need to spend time for visiting Customer Service Centres or calling to Customer Service.
Latvenergo AS client portal www.e-latvenergo.lv operates from the beginning of 2008.
