OREANDA-NEWS. On 06 August 2008 was announced, that on August 5, the PFTS index discontinued its decline and gained 0.46%.

Meanwhile, the broad UFC index demonstrated a more significant growth  3.41%. 

The steelmaking companies went up most of all by 4.4%, the UFC Engineering index added 1.1%, and UFC Utilities 0.8%.

Despite the aforesaid, the liquid securities do not break through their resistance levels, thus staying within their respective corridors. As a result, the Ukrainian stock indices also preserve their sideways trend. A similar situation has all chances to remain in the market for some time.
