OREANDA-NEWS. August 04, 2008. International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) has launched a new version of the proposed Internet-banking to manage accounts, reported the press-centre of International Bank of Azerbaijan.

The bank said that through a wide network of ATMs, as well as computers connected to the Internet, the new version allows users to access the Internet-banking, manage card accounts, to enjoy all forms of payment and to receive details of the operation.

To use the new system it is not required to have any additional software and any Internet browser is the best tool.

The Internet-banking system at the IBA offers the following services: general information about cards, a brief statement on the last 10 transactions, an extract about the cards for any calendar month, the transfer of money from one card to another and payment of mobile and fixed-line, utilities bills.

As of July 1, International Bank of Azerbaijan’s assets stood at AZN 3 635.842 million, loan portfolio at AZN 2 602.101 million, deposit portfolio at AZN 1 949.376 million, total capital at AZN 270.645 million and authorized capital at AZN 100 million.

The bank has been in operation since 1992. As Azerbaijan’s and the region’s largest bank, the International Bank of Azerbaijan with a government’s 50.2% stake is owned by the bank staff (10%) and private shareholders (40%).
