OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 August 2008 was announced, that on 04 August, the PFTS index lost 1.47%, primarily, for account of sharp decline at the very end of the trading session, to fall down slightly below 640 points. At the same time, UFC index dropped 0.8%. The top-decliner among the sectoral indices is still UFC Engineering, which sank 1.6% for a day. UFC Utilities dipped 0.2%, while UFC Metals again lost the least – 0.2%.

For a second day in a row, the market decline does not result in breaking through by liquid securities of their important levels. Moreover, PGZK, which approached closely to its support level of USD1.8, slightly rebounded up from it.
