OREANDA-NEWS. On 05 August 2008 was announced, that Andriy Syvtsev, Allianz Life Ukraine Ins.Co. оperational officer, took part in the round-table conference of Ekonomika publishing house devoted to prospects of corporate insurance development in Ukraine.

Participants of the round-table conference discussed the state of corporate life insurance market and prospects of its development in the light of preparation of amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On insurance”. Matters of criteria of corporate insurance program selection by the customers and ways of provision of the required services by the insurers were also touched upon.

“Today life insurance in the Ukrainian market is more popular among individuals, than among legal entities. But large companies and corporations appreciating their “raised” human resources are progressively resorting to life insurance as to an instrument of HR retention and increase of their loyalty to the employer”, - Andriy Syvtsev, Allianz Life Ukraine Ins.Co. оoperational officer, commented.

In the course of the discussion, the role of corporate insurance as one of the indicators of social responsibility of business was spoken about. The participants expressed the opinion that employee medical insurance most commonly becomes the first step to corporate life insurance.

The round-table conference was also attended by the President of the Ukrainian Insurance Enterprises League Oleksandr Filonyuk, managing editor of “Maybutnye” magazine, tax inspectors, and representatives of other insurance companies.
