OREANDA-NEWS. August 01, 2008. Energy Consulting took part in the 5th Jubilee Bishkek International Banking Conference (BIBC). World banks’ managers, investors, representatives of finance institutions and government bodies were present at the forum that is popular in Central Asia as well as in other countries, reported the press-centre of Energy Consulting.

Bishkek Conference participants discussed the situation on the world financial market, international integration processes, investment possibilities of the Middle Asian Region, analyzed concrete examples of the best banking practice in different countries, shared the experience, considered actual issues of Compliance and Risk Management.
 
Elena Rozanova, Energy Consulting Risk Management Manager, presented a report "Risks management: situation on the Russian banking market" at the conference. Development results and risks of the Russian banking sector in period from 2007 to 2008, risks management practice changes, also with regard to regulators’ requirements were considered in the report. In her speech Elena Rozanova told of such interesting initiative of the Russian banking community as development of Banking Quality Standards on risks management.
