OREANDA-NEWS. On August 04, 2008 As it was informed in NBM, the increase of this indicator was due to the growth of the balance of loans in MDL by 307.1 million leis, or 2.2%, while the balance of loans in foreign currency expressed in MDL decreased by 42.1 million leis, or 0.4%.

Expressed in USD, the balance of loans in foreign currency increased by USD 27.2 million, or 2.9%- up to USD 963.2 million.

The volume of loans issued in MDL in June 2008, amounted to 1452.6 million lei, increasing by 43 million leis, or 3.1%. The volume of loans issued in foreign currency to legal entities amounted to 945.7 million leis (USD 93.9 million), increasing by USD 15.7 million in comparison with the previous month.
