OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 August 2008 was announced, that at its meeting on July 28, 2008 the Presidium of the Government of the Russian Federation made the following decisions on the issues on its agenda.

1. On measures to develop the production of strategic, scarce and import-replacing materials and low-volume chemical production for armaments, military and special equipment in 2009-2011 and for the period until 2015

The Government of the Russian Federation took note of the report by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation on the said issue.

The meeting approved, taking into account the discussion held, the draft federal targeted program Development, Restoration and Organization of the Production of Strategic, Scarce and Import-replacing Materials and Low-Volume Chemical Production for Armaments, Military and Special Equipment for 2009-2011 and for the period until 2015.

The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Ministry of Finance of Russia have been given three days to submit the said draft federal targeted program to the Government of the Russian Federation under established procedure.

2. On draft federal targeted program Enhancing the Effective Use and Development of the Resource Potential of the Fisheries Industry in 2009-2013.

The meeting adopted a draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on the said issue.

3. On the draft federal law On Introducing an Amendment to Article 56 of the Federal Law On the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (the Bank of Russia)

The Government of the Russian Federation approved the draft federal law On Introducing an Amendment to Article 56 of the Federal Law On the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (the Bank of Russia) and decided to introduce it at the State Duma under established procedure.

4. On presenting to the President of the Russian Federation the Treaty on the Creation of a Common Customs Territory and the Formation of a Customs Union to be submitted for ratification

The meeting adopted a draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on the said issue.

5. On presenting to the President of the Russian Federation a Treaty on the Customs Union Commission to be submitted for ratification.

The meeting adopted a draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on the said issue.

6. On presenting to the President of the Russian Federation a Protocol on the Procedure of the Coming into Force of International Treaties Aimed at the Creation of a Legal-Treaty Framework of the Customs Union, Withdrawal from and Accession to them for the purpose of ratification.

The meeting adopted a draft decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on the said issue.

7. On the Organizing Committee for the Preparation and Holding of an International Forum on Nanotechnologies

The Government of the Russian Federation, taking into account the discussion held, adopted a draft executive order on the said issue.
