OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 August 2008 was announced, that the extraordinary general shareholders meeting of JSC Irkutskenergo is to take place on 5 September. It will be devoted to reorganization of the company in connection with spin-off of Irkutsk Electric Networks.

The meeting shall elect the board of directors of the new enterprise, approve its documents of incorporation. Besides, the revised regulations about the general director of JSC Irkutskenergo are to be considered.

According to Irkutskenergo's report, in connection with reorganization, shareholders - owners of ordinary registered stocks of the company- are entitled to demand the repayment from the company of all or parts of shares belonging to them. The Board of Directors of Irkutskenergo established the price of repayment in the amount of 19.06 rubles for one share.
