OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 August 2008 was announced, that July 2008 Belarusbank became a Regular member of the Banking Association of Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE). BACEE supports its members on the international markets, renders assistance in finding international partner banks, lenders and potential investors with the aim of attracting international credit lines and other forms of financing. Moreover, BACEE holds around 15 events a year for it's members (conferences, seminars, courses for banking personel, business trips).

BACEE was registered in 1996 in Paris, France and is headquartered in Budapest, Hungary. As of April 2008 there are 46 banks from 28 countries members of BACEE. In such countries as Albania, Belgium, Hungary, Israel, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, France, Croatia, banks-members of BACEE are among the TOP three largest banks of the country.
