OREANDA-NEWS. On 04 August 2008 was announced, that the centre for additional training Laboratory of Travels where children can learn the skills essential in tourism is to be raised in Novo-Peredelkino township, west Moscow.

“A site with the area of 1-1.5 ha will be allocated for the centre in Novo-Peredelkino township. Laboratory Of Travels will be financed at the expense of Department for Education of Moscow,” a source from City Hall said.

According to a press secretary of the fund Adventure Club which initiated the creation of the centre, several complexes will be constructed within its area for a complete course of training for hikes and extreme travels.

They will include a rock-climbing wall, rope webs and trainers. The children will get a lot of useful skills, including teamwork ones. Such a centre is needed to form the favourable conditions to mould the wholesome and socially active personalities of the children, the source added.
