OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2008. Two areas are under consideration for construction of a gambling zone in Primorie region at present as announced Sergey Darkin, Governor of Primorie region, during the press conference at the II Pacific Economic Congress.

“We consider new options for the gambling zone location, including Turtle Cape (Artem) and near the Shamora Bay (Vladivostok),” informed the governor.

He also noted that earlier the construction of the gambling zone was planned on the Russian island in Vladivostok.

“The format of the site development of the Russian island changed – the Government approved the construction of the Pacific Federal University and the largest in the Russian Far East scientific and educational centre,” announced Darkin.
