Press Service of LUKOIL Made Statement
OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2008. The Press Service of LUKOIL would like to inform that Alexander Tsygankov, Business Development Manager in the branch of LUKOIL Overseas in Libya, was freed from detention in Tripoli on July 30, 2008, reported the press-centre of LUKOIL.
Currently Alexander is home in Moscow, he is in good health.
Alexander Tsygankov was detained by the Libyan authorities last November. No formal charges brought against him.
LUKOIL would like to extend its gratitude to the leaders of the Russian Federation, the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Russian Embassy in Libya for their efforts to free Alexander Tsygankov.
