OREANDA-NEWS. On 1 August 2008 was announced, that Sergey Shoigu, minister for civil defence affairs, extreme situation and liquidation of consequences of natural disasters gave high estimation to Kursk power engineers while examining the forces and means of instant readiness of the district link of territorial divisions of RSCHS (Uniform state system of  prevention and liquidation of extreme situations) of the  Kursk Region.

On review "Kurskenergo", an IDGC of Centre, JSC subsidiary, was represented by the  rescue team at  10 -0.4 kV networks  as a part of the car of the operative group, "Vakhta" team car ,  boring car and a telescopic tower with a load-carrying capacity of 0.2 tons and a height of lifting of 26 metres.

Deputy Director in charge technical issues and Chief Engineer of the subsidiary Aleksandr Rudnevsky  reported on readiness of "Kurskenergo"  rescue team  for liquidation of emergency consequences.

Head of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia  studied the possibilities of the team, technical equipment, stocks and with the help of what devices specialists detect failures at power transmission lines.

Having heard exhaustive answers to all questions, minister of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia said, " One can see at once that the job here is done by high-skilled specialists !"

In October, 2007 after review of forces and means of constant readiness of the Kursk Region, the minister of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Russia Sergey Shoigu gave an excellent mark to "Kurskenergo", a subsidiary of IDGC of Centre, JSC for maintenance, use and technical state of the  special equipment.
