OREANDA-NEWS. On 1 August 2008 was announced, that the AVKOM-D Business Aviation Centre located on the territory of Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport will host the “Russian Business and General Aviation – 2008” air show on July 31 – August 3, 2008. The show was initiated by the Russian National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). More than 40 companies from eight countries will participate in the air show.

The event will showcase business and general aviation aircraft. Action Aviation will use the opportunity to present its Sino Swearingen SJ30 Business Jet airliner.

A two-day conference programme will include presentations of leading market experts representing the Russian NBAA, Tupolev OJSC, Ilyushin Finance Co. OJSC, and others.

“Such events draw attention to the business aviation development problems, - believes Vladimir Yuryevich Ber, Vice President of the Russian NBAA and President of the Expotek Centre for Exhibition Technologies. – It is not incidental that the Domodedovo airport was selected to host the air show. Not only is it the most advanced Russian airport at the moment, but it also is the most promising airport from the viewpoint of business aviation development. And the AVKOM-D centre which represents business aviation interests is the optimal venue for such an event”.
