OREANDA-NEWS. On July 29, 2008 SITRONICS Information Technologies (in Russia till 18 June 2008 known under brand Kvazar-Micro) one of the leading system integrators working in Eastern Europe and CIS countries, declared about completion of project for construction of communication infrastructure for Moscow office of Emerson company, reported the press-centre of SITRONICS Information Technologies.
 
Complete transfer to use of IP telephony was conducted within the project. Such approach simplifies expansion of telephone network and organization of communication with remote offices, provides possibility to deploy additional services. The following systems were implemented for the customer: interactive menu, voice mail, conference bridge, system for internal corporate tariffication, etc.
 
SITRONICS Information Technologies also provide support of Application Gateway that shall allow in future expansion in Emerson telecommunication infrastructure of expanded multimedia services Unified Communications.
 
The project was implemented in view of perspective of integration of Emerson telephony with Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, that will enable realization of such services as Presence (information about presence of employees that uses telephony and Outlook calendar data), organization of telephone and video conferences, joint work on documents and many other things.
 
New communication infrastructure was constructed on the basis of powerful IP telephony platform Nortel Communication Server 1000 and includes Nortel CallPilot system (auto-attendant, construction of multi-level voice menus and support of voice and fax mail-boxes), Nortel ICB conference bridge, Barsum Office corporate tariffication system, as well as Nortel Application Gateway.
