On 31 July 2008 was announced, that a new participant of the exhibition of calligraphy - Shen Peifang is a representative of the contemporary school of Chinese calligraphy, Professor, Editor, Administrative Director of Shanghai Calligraphy Association and Director of Chinese Cang Lang Calligraphy Association. He is a newcomer to the International Exhibition of Calligraphy.

He has been practicing calligraphy since childhood, and has fairly succeeded in it. As he compares calligraphy with music, he says: “calligraphic technique is a free art, description of emotions and reminiscences, life experience and power of imagination in art medium”.
