Atomredmetzoloto Consolidates Shares of Uranium Mining Companies
OREANDA-NEWS. July 31, 2008. Uranium Holding ARMZ (Atomredmetzoloto OJSC) has consolidated the shares of the uranium mining companies of Russia. 78.31% of the shares of Priargun Production Mining Chemical Association OJSC (PPMCA, Krasnokamensk, Trans-Baikal region), 99.999% of the shares of Khiagda OJSC (Bagdarin, Bauntovsky district, the Republic of Buryatia) and 97.85% of the shares of Dalur CJSC (Uksyanskoye, Kurgan region) have been transferred into the authorized capital of Atomredpetzoloto OJSC as a payment for its additional capital stock issue.
The issue consisted of 3,961,468,175 ordinary nominal uncertified shares worth 1 RUR each. The shares have been placed by means of closed subscription. The report on the placement of the issue will be registered by the end of this year.
The consolation of the uranium mining assets by Uranium Holding ARMZ is one more step towards the establishment of a diversified mining company fully meeting the uranium demand of the country.
