On 30 July 2008 was announced, that in RusSEZ was held working meeting of Federal Agency for Management of Special Economic Zones leaders (head of Federal Agency for Management of Special Economic Zones (RusSEZ) A. Alpatov and deputy head of RusSEZ T. Budarina with director of special economic areas “Morport Aktaus” (Republic of Kazakhstan ) Z. Kazievym and counsellor of trade representation of Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation M. Kabazievym .

During the meeting on various aspects of activity and prospects of special economic zones development in the Russian Federation and special economic areas in the Republic of Kazakhstan an opinion exchange took place.
