OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 July 2008 was announced, that International Scientific and Practical Conference "Progressive Technologies and Development Perspectives of JSC "Kazanorgsintez" devoted to 50th anniversary of company foundation and 45th anniversary of first product output  commenced  in JSC "Kazanorgsintez".

Opening of the Conference took place in Cultural and Entertaining Center "Pyramid". Not only representatives of major Tatarstan companies, such as JSC "Nizhnekamskneftekhim", "TAIF NK", JSC "Tatneftekhiminvestholdng", but also Russian and foreign companies representing oil and gas chemical industry took part at the Conference.

The main task of Conference plenary session was to introduce guests to economical model of the Republic, its oil and gas chemical potential and business activities of JSC "TAIF", a part of which is JSC "Kazanorgsintez".

General Director of JSC "TAIF", Mr. Albert Shigaboutdinov, identified the Company performance results as "encouraging". So, within first half year petrochemistry and refinery sector generated 104 billion rubles to the Company. By 2015 Company plans to increase profit from 5 billion USD (as of 2007) up to 18 billion USD.

First Vice-Premier, Mr. Ravil Mouratov delivered his welcome speech to conference participants. He noted that the President, Mr. Mintimer Shaimiev and the Government of the Republic always paid special attention to development of oil and gas petrochemical companies. According to Mr. Mouratov, JSC "Kazanorgsintez" is one of the major and successful companies in the Republic. Its personnel meets 50th anniversary of company foundation and 45th anniversary of first product output with "good past and better future is expecting them".

The Conference was continued by managers of JSC "Kazanorgsintez" who informed about the company and its current state in details.

Also representatives of "Idemitsu Kosan Co", "Asahi Kasei Chemicals Corporation" (Japan), "Univaition Technologies, LLC" (USA) and others delivered their speeches.

Today the Conference will continue its works at the premises of the Company where participants will proceed discussing scientific issues.
