OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2008. VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation is satisfied with the results of their participation in Farnborough 2008 Air Show, reported the press-centre of VSMPO-AVISMA.

The main objective of our participation in the world largest International Air Show was to make presentations of the latest achievemnts of the Corporation and to maintain close contacts with their current and potential customers. Many customers supported VSMPO heading to deeper processing items production, including machining.

About 60 meetings and discussions were planned to be held, while in reality their number well exceeded 100. All of the meetings were conducted in a constructive manner and have brought about tangible results.

One of the most significant events of this year's Air Show was the announcement of the strengthening of the long-term relations between AIRBUS/EADS and VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation.

In the course of the entire Air Show, an unflagging interest for the Russian titanium was being observed. Complex configuration advanced technology titanium parts for aircraft and engine building rightfully won recognition not only among speciallists, but regular Air Show visitors.

During the following 5 months, VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation shall take part in Hydro Air Show(Gelindzhik, 4-7 September) and Airshow China (China, 4-9 November), as well as in other shows and exhibitions.
