OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 July 2008 was announced, that Sevmash NITITs has successfully passed accreditation as nondestructive test laboratory.

Sevmash scientific-research, process test center has passed accreditation as nondestructive, destructive test laboratory according to requirements of international standards on objects, under control of Federal agency on ecological, process and nuclear supervision.

From January to June NITITs specialists performed organizational work on preparation for certification. 18 specialists on different test methods are certified, methodic documents are developed, and center readiness audit is being carried out. As a result in Rostekhnadzor central body – scientific center “Industrial safety” Sevmash obtained two certificates for nondestructive and destructive testing for 5 and 3 years respectively. These certificates give right to carry out inspection and testing of equipment and materials during building, repair, reconstruction and technical diagnostics of objects, under Rostekhnadzor control (including MISP “Prirazlomnaya”, boilers, gas pipelines, etc).
