OREANDA-NEWS. July 28, 2008. The number of DCC Participants who have joined the ruble DVP settlement system has reached one hundred. ООО Vostok-Invest Investment Company became the hundredth user of the system.

With effect from June 30, 2008 DCC switched to the single DVP settlement technology for Russian rubles and US dollars, which provides the following advantages for DCC Participants:
DVP settlement in rubles performed via main sub-accounts of depo accounts;
DVP settlement in rubles and in dollars performed within the same clearing sessions.

DVP settlement in rubles via DCC participants have become available to a wide range of end investors, including management and insurance companies and fireign financial institutions.

The service is available to Participants who have entered into a Clearing Services Agreement with DCC and have opened a new cash account in RTS Settlement Chamber. To perform the cash side of settlement DCC operates the cash account, being responsible for control over execution of DVP transactions.
