PRAVEX-BANK Travelers Cheques Are Essential Abroad
OREANDA-NEWS. July 25, 2008. Travelers' cheques are personal money both for tourists and business people. They are not limited in time; those not used may be kept until the next trip, reported the press-centre of PRAVEX-BANK.
Travelers' cheques are of high solvency: they can be used for paying for goods and services; they can be easily translated into local currency in such countries as USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, in some Asian states, in Europe and many others.
The difference between cash and a travelers' cheque is that the later is valid only under the signature of its owner. No one can use a cheque unless it is signed by the owner. In case of losing the cheque a call to a company-issuer with a request to block it (with a purpose to avoid the signature falsification) will be enough. The company-issuer will substitute the lost cheque with a new one within a short period of time.
PRAVEX-BANK offers travelers' cheques of 50, 100, 500 and 100 USD and 50, 100, 200 and 500 euros. A client may take a set of travelers' cheques in total not exceeding the sum of 10 000 USD (or an equivalent of this sum, translated into euros) for an abroad trip.
"Travelers' cheques are one of the safest means to save the money while traveling abroad. The owner of the cheque can stay calm as in case of loss or stealing, money, converted into travelers' cheques is safe. Travelers' cheques are simple to use. Wherever you are, you are supposed to be issued the sum, written in the cheque. It is enough to come to a bank's branch or foreign exchange office, which cooperates with the company-issuer. So, travelers' cheques are a perfect addition to cash and cards today", — a resume by Irina Tarnovskaya, the Vice-Chairwoman of the Managing Board, PRAVEX-BANK.
